Sonic Linguistic

Serpong – On 1^st of March 2014 held an event at MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong that invited many student around Indonesia, from Aceh until Makassar students came to Serpong only to joined this event. This event named Sonic Linguistic that stand for “Show your brain on science, Link your imagination on language, sport, art and culture, and journalistic”. The theme of Sonlis this year is “Ancient Valor” with motto “Enchanting Ideas”.  This event actually started from 22^th of February and continued to 23^th of February, then 1st of March and the closing ceremony at the following day, 2^nd of March. But the third day of Sonlis (Sonic Linguistic) that held on 1^st of March is the most spectacular day of Sonlis for this year.

There were many competitions that held in this day, like Band, Grafitti, Technology Wall Magazine, Science Competition, Mini Soccer, Basketball, etc. The sunny weather for this day made all of the participants had a spirit to win the competition. Band competition held at the main stage. The competitors of this competition were ZIV, Colstra MAN 4, Mahkota, etc. All of the band competitors showed their best performance. After a group of band showed their performance, many audiences clapped hand. “Ya, we already showed our best performance to entertain all of the audiences”, said vocalist from Colstra MAN 4.

Next competition is Grafitti competition. Grafitti competition took place at the front fences. All of the participants made a good picture of Mural and grafitti. They used pylox and paint colour to paint on the triplex board. They showed their enthusiasm to join the competition. The theme for the grafitti was mythology. So all of the participants drew mythology characters, like Orc, Monster, Neptunus, and the others. The total of participants of this competition approximately 15 participants.

Basketball held at basketball field and Mini soccer held at football field. Team from Insan Cendekia Serpong (ICS) joined basketball competitions. But the was lose by SMAN 6 Tangerang team (DUPAM). In Mini Soccer held semifinal and final round. The final round was a match between Khazanah Kebajikan and Arif Rahman Hakim. The winner of this match was Khazanah Kebajikan. For the third place was a match between MAN Serpong and Lazuardi and the winner was Lazuardi.

Science Competition took place at B building or education building of MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong. For this day was a semifinal round that the system of the competition was adventure. The participants moved from one post to the another post. Each post had a question that have to answered by the participants. All of the participants also showed their enthusiasm same like another competition. The question of this competition was about Physics, Biology, and Mathematic.

Fauzan, one of participant of Technology Wallmagz said,“This event is good. All of the commitee cooperate each other to prepare this event. The main stage is placed in strategic place so all the visitors can watch the band. I hope for Sonlis next year can be better than this Sonlis”.
